Description

The next generation of the Marshall DSL series amps are laden with Marshall tone, features and functionality for the novice, as well as pros performing on the world’s biggest stages. The new DSL models feature adjustable power settings, which delivers all-valve tone and feel, at any volume, from bedroom to stage. The new technology adjusts power to the valves, instead of just turning off valve stages, allowing the amp to remain articulate and dynamic.

Some innovative tweaks to the EQ circuitry have given the new DSLs even greater tonal flexibility. The EQ section of the new DSLs can deliver exactly what your ears are looking for.

Marshall’s partnership with Softube has led to the creation of award-winning plug-ins, as well as exceptional tone in Marshall’s CODE digital amps. The same team is responsible for the development of the new emulated output feature, found in the DSL series. Both the headphone out, and line out on the DSL models boast incredibly accurate emulation of the famed 1960 cabinet.

The DSL is now more versatile than ever, with new features including discrete master volume controls for each channel, built-in reverb and resonance controls.

Features:

• Gain and volume per channel
• Dedicated resonance control
• High and low power settings
• Reverb
• Softube emulated output
• 3 x ECC83 and 2 X EL34 valves
• Dimensions (W x H x D): 500 x 250 x 240mm
• Weight: 21.4 lbs (9.71 kg)

Brand

Marshall

Marshall Amplification is a British company that designs and manufactures music amplifiers, speaker cabinets, brands personal headphones and earphones, and, having acquired Natal Drums, drums and bongos. It was founded by drum shop owner and drummer Jim Marshall, and is now based in Bletchley, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire. Marshall's guitar amplifiers are among the most recognised in the world. Their signature sound, characterized by sizzling distortion and "crunch," was conceived by Marshall after guitarists, such as Pete Townshend, visited Marshall's drum shop complaining that the guitar amplifiers then on the market didn't have the right sound or enough volume. After gaining a lot of publicity, Marshall guitar amplifiers and loudspeaker cabinets were sought by guitarists for this new sound and increased volume. Many of the current and reissue Marshall guitar amplifiers continue to use vacuum tubes (also called valves in Britain and some other regions), as is common in this market sector. Marshall also manufactures less expensive solid-state, hybrid (vacuum tube and solid state) and modelling amplifiers.

This Marshall is AMAZING !!.. Listen to the Spotify Playlist: “MARSHALL AMPS“..

Pink Floyd, Steve Miller, Grateful Dead, Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones, Tom Petty, Allman Brothers, Eagles, Doobie Brothers, Joe Walsh, Steppenwolf, Creedence Clearwater, The Band, Aerosmith, Blue Oyster Cult, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Dire Straits, BTO, Boston…. Incredible guitar stuff !!… Marshall Amplification ?..

Want to play like these guys?… Practice for a few years… Then buy a Marshall Amp !!… It’s not just how good you play..

I used to have an older Marshall tube combo (which was GREAT) — but am even FAR MORE ecstatic with the modernized Marshall sound of the DSL20HR head.. The added reverb and effects-loop is a nice touch.. This amp sounds incredible – whether crystal clean or full gain tube distortion.. (even at low volumes)…

    Thank you, Jean Luc !!!
